The Bluebell headed to Newton Park on Saturday in confident mood having been on a good run.

The opening 25 minutes resulted in the home team dominating the play with Dundonald struggling to make any impact on the game.  This was recognised by the Bluebell management team who changed the formation they started with by making a substitution with the unfortunate Ness being replaced by WallaceThis new formation gave the Bell a more solid

look disaster struck for the away side on 30 minutes when Centre Back Wedderburn received a 2nd yellow card and was dismissed.  This required the Bluebell to adjust again and before they could fully organise they also found themselves a goal down when from the resulting free kick the home striker McKenzie sent an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the goal.

The home side continued to dominate and the Bluebell had their goalkeeper Lennox to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 at the interval.

The BU set the pace again at the start of the 2nd half laying seize to the visitors goal.  The visitors were not lacking in commitment and were guilty of a few hefty challenges as they struggled to stay in the game.

The inevitable 2nd goal came when Wright tapped in from a Donnelly cross on 64 mins.  Lennox was continually thwarting the home side in what was becoming a masterclass in goalkeeping from the Bluebell skipper.

The 3rd goal for the home side came on 80 minutes when Wright got his 2nd despite more heroics from the visiting keeper.

In an afternoon best forgotten by Dundonald, they did manage a consolation on the full time whistle when an excellent cross by Rogerson was headed home by Smith.
