Dundonald lose "Legend"

It is with extreme sadness and a collective broken heart that the club announce tonight the passing of our Vice Chairman Wullie Webster.

The primary thoughts of everyone at the club are with the Webster family at this time.

In Webby the world has lost a great man. A man of kindness, of generosity and a man who we were lucky to meet and call a friend.

A Bluebell man who was known in football circles far and wide.

Sleep tight wee man, we will share a drink and a wee pinch of the famous dundonald dope as we know that’s what you would want.

The club has lost a legend but more importantly the world has lost a gentleman.

Dundonald Granted Full SFA Membership

This morning Dundonald Bluebell FC received confirmation from the Scottish Football Association that the club has been granted full SFA membership with immediate effect.
In what has been a roller coaster journey over the last 12 months as the club moved from Junior football to the EOSL we hope that seeing the Bluebell participate in the William Hill Scottish Cup next season will be a reward for all the hard work and dedication we have undertaken getting the club accredited.
The dedication and hard work not only of the current Bluebell committee but the community and people of the Cardenden area is testament to the work ethic surrounding the village.
We completed all works required within 6 months which is a truly remarkable achievement.  There are too many people who helped to list individually but I would just like to say a big thank you.  You all know who you are.
A special thank you to local businesses and organisations Brian Johnston Chemist, Ore Valley Housing Association and Rogerson Plumbing and Heating as without there help and expertise this would not have been possible.
The club now look forward to new SFA president Rod Petrie attending an up and coming match to present our membership certificate.  Details on this will follow.
